Is there anything better than receiving a gorgeous invitation, a handwritten note on an exquisitely designed card or an adorable birth announcement in the mail?
A native Atlantan, Callie Shockley Burnette was born with a fountain pen in hand and a passion to find the perfect, unique paper product to send a friend. She’s criss-crossed the globe to sample the world’s paper stores and has saved every card or invitation she’s ever received. {Those who know her well know better than to accompany her to a paper store unless you’d like to spend all day there.} After studying business and finance at the University of Georgia, Callie has leant her artistic eye to developing marketing materials for global architecture and construction firms for the past eight years.
In late 2009, after creating stationery and invitations for friends in her free time for several years, Calliespondence was born.
When she’s not folding note cards or lining envelopes, Callie can be found enjoying a vodka tonic (two limes please), scolding her cat Paquito, sipping on chicken and vegetable soup from Jalisco’s or spending time with the two men in her life, Rush (baby) and Brandon (husband).
